V-Grooving

A V-groove is machined on the inside of the bend line. When the sheet metal is bent along that line, a sharp corner is achieved.

Sharp–cornered panels are normally requested by architectural designers who want to have a distinctive, high quality look and precision fit. This requirement is normally focused on visual appeal and not related to structural strength.
